Responsibilities:

As a Team Leader in the Call Centre, your main objective will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, ensuring that team members are working efficiently and effectively to deliver exceptional customer service. Your duties will include:

  • Managing a team of Call Centre Agents to ensure they meet performance targets and provide high-quality service to customers
  • Implementing effective training programs to upskill and reskill team members
  • Maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
  • Analyzing customer feedback and implementing improvements to service delivery
  • Adhering to banking policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • 2-3 years of Call Centre experience, preferably with leadership or oversight experience
    • 2 years of banking experience, preferably with knowledge of banking products and services
    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
  • Ideal Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Psychology
    • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
