About the Role

As a Service Consultant at Capitec Bank, your primary goal is to provide top-notch customer service and exceed our clients’ expectations. The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3-6 months of previous experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment. If you don’t have experience, a relevant tertiary qualification can still make you a great fit.
  • Proven track record of sales and customer-facing experience.
  • A degree in Commerce or a related field, or a certification in Finance or Banking.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a related field.
  • Certification in Finance or Banking.

What You’ll Need to Know

  • Basic arithmetic skills and knowledge of the retail/consumer service environment.
  • Familiarity with Capitec Bank’s products.
  • Understanding of internal business processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with organisational Policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy.

Essential Skills

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Employment Requirements

  • A clear criminal and credit record.
  • We must be able to detect and recognize your fingerprints on our internal electronic banking system.
