What Will You Do as a Control Room Operator?

As a Control Room Operator, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination, surveillance, and real-time tracking of vehicles. Here’s a breakdown of your key responsibilities:

• Monitor Vehicle Movement: Use advanced tracking systems to monitor vehicles on assigned routes.
• Regular Communication: Stay in constant communication with drivers and security personnel.
• Report Writing: Compile accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and system malfunctions.
• Route Planning: Plan and adjust vehicle routes for efficiency and security.
• Client Support: Handle client queries and provide prompt, effective responses.

What Are the Requirements?

To be considered for this position, you’ll need to meet the following minimum requirements:

Education:

• Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Control Room Operator or Security Controller.
• Vehicle and radio monitoring experience will give you a competitive edge.

Skills & Certifications:

• PSIRA Registered (Grade C) (Mandatory)
• Valid Driver’s License (Essential)
• Computer Literacy (Familiarity with tracking software is a plus)
• Fully bilingual (Ability to communicate fluently in at least 2 languages)
