What you will do
- Prepare and pack items – follow the instructions for each product and meet the daily output targets.
- Label and price correctly – put the right tags on loose and packaged goods so customers see the true price.
- Check quality – look over every batch for any signs of damage, spoilage or wrong measurements.
- Remove bad stock – take out any expired or damaged goods from the line right away.
- Keep the cold chain – watch temperature logs and make sure cold items stay at the right temperature.
- Cut waste – spot ways to reduce shrinkage, broken packs or spoiled food.
- Maintain hygiene – clean work surfaces, tools and equipment constantly to meet food‑safety rules.
- Help customers – answer questions, give product advice and process orders accurately.
- Promote products – when asked, talk up new or special items to boost sales.
- Communicate clearly – keep the team, managers and suppliers in the loop with clear updates.
- Follow safety rules – wear protective gear, follow lock‑out procedures and report any hazards.
