Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Specialist Employer Value Proposition & Communication – West to join our team at Capitec Bank. As a Specialist Employer Value Proposition & Communication – West, you will play a key role in defining and refining our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to attract and retain top talent. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and Refine EVP: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and refine our Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to ensure it remains competitive and relevant in the market.
- Conduct Market Research: Conduct research, employee surveys, and focus groups to gather insights and data to support EVP development and improvement.
- Benchmark and Evaluate: Benchmark our EVP against industry standards and competitors, and continuously monitor and evaluate its effectiveness both internally and externally, making adjustments as necessary.
- Develop Communication Plan: Develop and implement a comprehensive communication plan to promote our EVP both internally and externally.
- Ensure EVP Consistency: Ensure that all communication channels (social media, our website, job postings, employee newsletters, etc.) consistently reflect our EVP.
- Develop Culture and Values Programs: Develop programs and materials that articulate our culture, values, and benefits to current employees.
- Lead Employer Branding Initiatives: Lead external employer branding initiatives to attract top talent, including the creation of marketing campaigns, content, and events.
- Manage Partnerships: Manage relationships with external partners such as recruitment agencies, universities, and career platforms to enhance our visibility as an employer of choice.
- Represent Capitec: Represent Capitec at job fairs, career events, and industry conferences to promote our employer brand.
- Measure Impact: Establish metrics to assess the impact of EVP and communication strategies on recruitment and retention.
- Provide Insights: Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on the effectiveness of EVP initiatives.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in employer branding, marketing, or human resources.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful employer branding initiatives.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in employer branding.
