🛠 Key Responsibilities

1. Front of House Duties

• Manage access to the facility and ensure smooth entry and exit for members.
• Provide accurate and helpful information to staff, members, and prospective members.
• Adhere to company policies and maintain a high level of professionalism.

2. Engaging with Members

• Deliver excellent customer service to meet and exceed satisfaction targets.
• Promote digital tools, including personalized online fitness plans.
• Handle complaints with care, ensuring all concerns are resolved promptly.
• Encourage participation in fitness events and activities to boost member retention.

3. Member Floor Experience

• Promote safe and effective exercise practices.
• Ensure members follow club rules and safety protocols.
• Keep the exercise floor clean and organized.

4. Training and Development

• Continuously improve your skills and stay updated on the latest fitness trends and digital tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 4).
• Completion of Virgin Active’s Reception Academy.
• Knowledge of digital fitness platforms and tools.
• 12+ months of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of Virgin Active’s fitness offerings and customer journey.
