About the Role
The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Claims Division. This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and ready to assist in ensuring the smooth running of the department.
- Position Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
- Grade: T.A.S.K Grade 06
- Salary: R244,732.00 per annum

Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance Administration:
- Ensure compliance with RAF policies and standards.
- Keep written documentation up to date and aligned with business goals.
- Maintain adherence to internal controls and processes.
2. Office Coordination:
- Manage correspondence, filing, and telephonic queries.
- Ensure requests and follow-ups are handled within deadlines.
- Oversee stationery availability and validate submitted documents for accuracy.
- Update systems/registers and eliminate duplicate records.
- Allocate reference numbers and distribute letters to stakeholders.
3. Meeting Support:
- Arrange meetings, manage diaries, and schedule appointments.
- Record, distribute, and track meeting minutes and resolutions.
- Maintain follow-up plans for outstanding matters.
4. Document and Records Management:
- Administer records in line with RAF filing standards.
- Keep filing systems functional and retrieve information when needed.
- Ensure document confidentiality and accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Matric or Grade 12 certificate.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year in an administrative or similar role.
Skills and Competencies:

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
