As a Customer Service Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in providing top-notch support to Postbank clients and internal teams. This includes handling account queries, resolving issues, and supporting customers through multiple channels such as email, telephone, social media, and web chat. You’ll also get hands-on experience with electronic fund transfers and compliance protocols while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls across multiple platforms (phone, email, web chat, etc.).
  • Assist Customer Service Clerks in resolving account issues.
  • Ensure every client interaction meets high-quality service standards.
  • Provide accurate information while adhering to legislative and company policies (FAIS, FICA, etc.).
  • Stay proactive in delivering creative solutions to customer concerns.
  • Strive for 100% customer satisfaction while handling challenging situations.
  • Maintain professionalism, integrity, and a positive team spirit.

🎓 Qualifications You Need

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Grade 12/NQF Level 4 (with Mathematics or Accounting).
  • A diploma in Financial, Banking, Call Centre, or Customer Services (NQF Level 5) is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Call Centre or Banking environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English (bi-lingual skills are a plus).
