About the Role
As a Cashier, your primary responsibility will be to manage payments and transactions efficiently while delivering top-notch customer service. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate cash handling and maintaining proper transaction records.
Key Responsibilities
Cash Receipting:
- Handle payments for services and products with professionalism.

- Issue receipts and confirm transactions with customers.
Cash Reconciliation:
- Reconcile cash received against receipts issued.

- Work with supervisors to ensure all cash reconciliations are completed without errors.
Documentation and Recordkeeping:
- Maintain organized transaction records and receipts.
- File documents in chronological order for easy access.
- Retrieve records to assist with customer inquiries when needed.
What You’ll Need
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 certificate (essential).
- 2–5 years of cashier experience in a retail or similar environment.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in handling cash and managing a counter.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Excel for simple administrative tasks.
- Experience performing general administrative functions.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
