About the Role:
As a Richmond Service Consultant – West, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, ensuring that clients are satisfied with our products and services, and promoting our banking solutions to meet their financial needs. Your role will involve interacting with clients, addressing their queries, and resolving any issues they may have in a professional and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that clients are satisfied with our products and services
- Promote Capitec Bank’s products and services to meet clients’ financial needs
- Address client queries and resolve any issues they may have in a professional and efficient manner
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
Requirements:
- Minimum:
- 3 to 6 months of previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment (or a relevant tertiary qualification)
- Basic calculations knowledge
- Understanding of a retail/consumer service environment
- Ideal:
- More than 1 year’s client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
- Demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment
- Knowledge of Capitec Bank products
- Understanding of internal business processes and procedures
- Familiarity with organisational policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)
Qualifications:
- Minimum:
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Ideal or Preferred:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar
- Certification in Finance or Banking
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
Conditions of Employment:
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognisable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
