Job Summary:
As a Cyber Security Architect at Capitec, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing advanced security solutions to safeguard our systems and data from evolving cyber threats. With a minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity roles and at least 3 years specifically in a cybersecurity architecture capacity, you will leverage your hands-on experience with infrastructure and security tools to assess, enhance, and fortify our security frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate current architectures to identify vulnerabilities and craft robust defenses, particularly in multi-cloud environments.
- Design and implement robust security solutions that address current and emerging threats.
- Ensure Capitec systems and data are secure, compliant with industry standards, and resilient against cyberattacks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure Capitec remains ahead of the curve in cybersecurity.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
- At least 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity architecture capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance.
- Experience with infrastructure and security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security information and event management systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, including multi-cloud environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
