About the Role:
As a Sabie Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service, fulfilling and exceeding the client’s needs by using the Global One product offering to support our clients to Bank Better and Live Better. You will be the first point of contact for clients, responding to their queries, resolving issues, and providing solutions to meet their financial needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional client service, ensuring that clients receive a positive experience when interacting with us
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences
- Sell and promote Capitec Bank products and services, achieving sales targets and goals
- Resolve client complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex client issues
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and business processes to provide accurate information to clients
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-6 months previous client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment (or relevant tertiary qualification)
- Ideal: More than 1 year’s client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment, with a demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or Similar (ideal)
- Certification in Finance or Banking (ideal)
- Basic calculations, retail/consumer service environment knowledge (minimum)
- Capitec Bank Products, internal business processes and procedures, organisational policies (ideal)
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Conditions of Employment:
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Must have fingerprints which are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
