About the Job

As a Service Consultant West, you’ll be responsible for enhancing the lives of our clients by providing excellent client service, fulfilling and exceeding their needs. You’ll use the Global One product offering to support our clients in banking better and living better. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

  • Minimum: 3 to 6 months previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment, or a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Ideal: More than 1 year’s client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment, with a demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational
  • Ideal or Preferred: Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar, certification in Finance or Banking

Knowledge

  • Minimum:
    • Basic calculations
    • Retail/consumer service environment
  • Ideal:
    • Capitec Bank products
    • Internal business processes and procedures
    • Organisational Policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)

Skills

  • Communication skills
  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

Conditions of Employment

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognisable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
