About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst III to join our team in Stellenbosch. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and defining business requirements and functional specifications to optimize business efficiencies through automation, digital, information and communications technologies. Your objective will be to develop and design solutions that ensure effectiveness of implementation and continuous improvement for business and/or existing applications solutions.

Purpose Statement

• To analyze and define business requirements and functional specifications to optimize business efficiencies through automation, digital, information and communications technologies.
• To develop and design solutions and ensure effectiveness of implementation as well as continuous improvement for business and/or existing applications solutions by collaborating with and acting as conduit between stakeholders from the business, Technology and the product team.

Education (Minimum)

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis is a must.

Knowledge and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 6+ years of working experience as a Business Analyst in a variety of situations, contexts, and complexities. You must have the ability to use a variety of techniques and complete business analysis tasks independently.

• Investigating business requirements through stakeholder engagement and analysis of documents and information
• Developing and communicating business requirements, including automated workflows, using natural language, data models,  landscape diagrams, and visual explanations
• Collaborating with stakeholders to develop plans to achieve agreed strategic objectives through the appropriate use of tasks, budget, process maps, roadmaps, Yara diagrams, and other relevant artifacts
• Effectively communicating with stakeholders at various levels, ensuring collaborative working across stakeholders to resolve problems and create shared understanding
• Leading workshops and applying business analysis skills to business requirements workshops to identify, develop, or refine the business requirements related to solution options related to business changes of software
• Led and advise on the use of a systematic approach to business analysis to achieve digital, technology, and automation improvements
• Leading, tracking, and reporting on multiple projects. Stakeholder engagement responsibilities for various customer-facing projects in business depend on specially handling a various delicate projects and maintaining control through tools
