We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Business Engineer in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business process architecture solutions and requirements to support the achievement of strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop business process architecture and requirements for various business units
- Support new revenue growth initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement post-implementation of projects through business unit operationalization
- Translate business needs into requirements for developing and implementing IT systems
- Develop change management plans, project plans, and policies/procedures/performance measures
Requirements
- Relevent tertiary qualification in Engineering or Information Technology
- National Certificate / Vocational, Grade 12
- Relevant post-graduate qualification in Engineering, preferred
Desirable Skills and Experiences
- Business Improvement experience
- Lean way of work principles
- Business Change Life Cycle and change management principles
- System Development Life Cycle, Project Management Lifecycle, and methodologies
- Supply Chain methodologies
- Agile way of working practices
- Quality Management, Risk and Issue Management, and BABOK, SOA, TOGAF, and ARCHIMATE
- Client experience/client journey mapping, process frameworks, process simulation modelling, financial modelling, management operating system best practices, incident management and workflow methodologies, legal frameworks, commercial model development, operating model development, business architecture development, product development framework, and transformational management principles
- Financial/Banking transactional processes
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, computer literacy, interpersonal and relationship management, presentation, facilitation, business process modelling, planning, organising and coordination, and commercial thinking skills
