Astron Energy Invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for the 2027 Bursary Programme. The closing date for applications is Monday, 26 October 2026 at 12 midday.
What the bursary pays for
Astron Energy will cover all the costs you need to study at any recognised university or college in South Africa. The help includes:
- Full tuition and registration fees – you can study at any accredited higher‑education institution.
- Textbooks, accommodation and meals – the money you need for books, a place to live and food each month.
- Monthly living allowance – a regular payment to help with everyday expenses.
- Psychological and social support – professional help to keep you motivated and well‑balanced while you study.
- Mentoring and skill building – a light‑touch mentor will guide you in the skills employers look for.
- Work‑readiness training – workshops that teach you how to write a CV, interview, and behave at work.
- Private tutoring – extra academic help if you need it for hard subjects.

You can apply if you plan to study one of the following areas:
- Engineering – Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical (must be a BSc or BEng degree, not a B‑Tech).
