What the Learnership Is About

Solareff is running a 12‑month, fixed‑term learnership under the Youth Employment Service (YES) programme. The YES scheme is a government‑backed effort to lower youth unemployment and help companies meet B‑B‑EE transformation targets.

The learnership is not an internship, apprenticeship, or a formal training course that gives a certificate. It is a real work placement where young South Africans aged 18‑34 can pick up practical skills in administration, warehousing, and basic technical tasks while getting paid.

  • Citizenship: South African citizen

  • Work history: Must not have been employed full‑time by the same employer for more than one year.
  • Study status: Cannot be studying full‑time during the 12‑month period.
  • Previous YES participation: Applicants who have already taken part in the YES programme are not eligible.
