What You Will Do:
As a graduate in Business Control at Volvo, you will gain exposure to a range of key responsibilities, including:
- Management Cost Control: Supporting in managing costs effectively.
- Financial Reporting: Posting journals and reviewing financial data on SAP. Reporting results on the Company’s VGCS system.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting detailed financial analyses compared to planned budgets. Presenting findings to the Business Control Global Team.
- Financial Forecasting and Budgeting: Assisting in preparing financial forecasts and budgets.
- Equipment Investment Management: Supporting in managing investments in equipment.
- Cost Deployment: Utilizing tools to reduce waste, minimize costs, and enhance productivity.
- Finance-related Tasks: Assisting in various other financial tasks as required.
- Freight Cost Management: Compiling and analyzing freight cost reports for accuracy. Arranging for timely freight payments.
- Procurement Support: Creating purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Miscellaneous Item Management: Managing usage and expenditure of miscellaneous items.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Handling additional tasks assigned by the Service Market Logistics Team.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Finance.
Key Competencies:
- Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Attention to Detail and Detail Orientation.
- Ability to Multi-task and Manage Time Effectively.
- Strong Administration Skills.
- Ability to Work under Pressure with Flexibility.
