Purpose of the Job
Support the pharmacist by performing dispensing duties, administrative tasks, and ensuring excellent customer service at the MediRite Raslouw branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Control: Manage stock to ensure availability and compliance with regulations.
- Dispensing: Assist with medication dispensing under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Administration: Handle pharmacy-related documentation and processes.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Frontshop Service: Provide excellent customer service and assist with over-the-counter sales.
Qualifications
- Essential:
- Qualified as a Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Skills and Knowledge
- Essential:
- Customer service-oriented approach.
- Dispensing knowledge and experience with dispensing systems.
- Familiarity with pharmacy ordering systems.
- Desirable:
- Understanding of retail/FMCG operations.
