R 171,972.00 – R 235,896.00 per annum (basic salary, plus benefits)
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 9 certificate.
- Skills: Ability to understand job functions and responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities
As a General Assistant in Urban Beautification, your duties will include:
- Safekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
- Loading and removal of branches, garden refuse, and rubble.
- Following instructions regarding the use of herbicides and pesticides.
- Cleaning and weeding flowerbeds.
- Planting trees and pruning shrubs to maintain a neat and appealing landscape.
- Assisting in grave-digging tasks for new and reserved graves, as well as second/third interments, occasionally using specialized tools like a jackhammer.
- Performing any other tasks assigned by your supervisor to support the Urban Beautification mission.
