📋 Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this exciting opportunity, you need to meet the following criteria:

Education: Must have a Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 4 or higher).
Language: Must be fluent in at least two official South African languages, with English as one of them.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. (Having completed relevant courses will be a bonus!)
Criminal Record: Must have a clean criminal record with no pending criminal or departmental cases.
Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
Work Conditions: Must be able to work under pressure and be available to work overtime if needed.

📚 Key Responsibilities

As an Administrative Support Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the Divisional Commissioner’s office. Your main tasks will include:

1. Document Management

  • Typing reports, letters, and memorandums.
  • Monitoring and managing document flow in and out of the Divisional Commissioner’s office.
  • Keeping accurate records of collected and distributed documents.

2. Correspondence

  • Capturing and reviewing incoming and outgoing correspondence.

3. Support Functions

  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to the Divisional Commissioner.
  • Managing the Commissioner’s diary, scheduling meetings, and attending to visitors.
  • Handling travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodation, and travel expenses.

4. Systems and Returns

  • Managing the bring-forward system to ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Completing and submitting monthly vehicle returns.
