Role Responsibilities
- Attain and surpass all daily, weekly, and monthly in-branch sales targets by adhering to the strategic guidelines of the business unit.
- Conclude client transactions by securing client signatures for final product acceptance.
- Enhance performance in accordance with managerial feedback and directives.
- Procure referrals from current clients and branch personnel through cooperative efforts.
- Promote financial products to new and existing clients and stakeholders by discerning client needs and aligning products accordingly.
- Aid and work alongside segment colleagues (e.g., Relationship- and Business Banking) during activations to guarantee new business opportunities are realized.
- Cultivate relationships with clients and stakeholders through consistent interaction and availability, implementing the “I know you” strategy.
- Address client inquiries by adhering to business protocols and maintaining client communication.
Essential Qualifications – NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
Preferred Qualification
Minimum Experience Level
- Possess 3 years of Retail Banking experience, with 1-2 years at the Sales Consultant level.
- Experience with Small Business Services clients is essential.
Technical / Professional Knowledge
- Familiarity with administrative procedures and systems
- Understanding of banking procedures
- Knowledge of business principles and terminology
- Proficiency in governance, risk management, and control
- Competence in Microsoft Office
