About the Internship
Discovery’s Institute of Training is looking for a fresh graduate to join the Finance Administrator internship in Sandton, Gauteng. The placement sits in the Sales & Distribution unit and works with the Learning & Development (L&D) team. You will help turn complicated money topics into easy‑to‑understand learning material. What You Will Do
- Research: Find up‑to‑date information on budgeting, saving, debt, credit, insurance, investing, retirement and smart money choices. Use only reliable sources and record them correctly.
- Fact‑check: Double‑check every number, example and statistic before anything is sent for review.
- Write Simply: Turn complex finance ideas into plain language that anyone can use. Create worksheets, slides, guides, case studies, digital lessons, quizzes, infographics and other teaching tools.
- Design Learning Paths: Work with the L&D team to set clear learning goals and arrange content in a logical order.
- Know Your Audience: Study the needs, habits, obstacles and preferred learning styles of the target group. Turn those insights into learner profiles, practical examples and realistic scenarios.
- Make Content Inclusive: Keep in mind different levels of finance knowledge, language skills, accessibility needs and internet access when you help build material.
