Job Summary:
We’re on the lookout for energetic and self-motivated individuals who share our passion for service in the banking industry. As a Durban Service Consultant, you will be responsible for enhancing the lives of our clients by providing excellent client service, fulfilling and exceeding their needs. You will use our Global One product offering to support our clients in banking better and living better.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent client service to our customers, fulfilling and exceeding their needs
- Use our Global One product offering to support our clients in banking better and living better
- Work in a sales and client-facing environment to engage with clients and provide them with the best possible service
Requirements:
- Minimum Requirements:
- 3 to 6 months of previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
- A relevant tertiary qualification can be considered if no experience is available
- Ideal Requirements:
- More than 1 year’s client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
- A demonstrated track record of engaging in a sales and client-facing environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum:
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Ideal or Preferred:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or Similar
- Certification in Finance or Banking
Knowledge:
- Minimum:
- Knowledge and understanding of basic calculations
- Knowledge and understanding of a retail/consumer service environment
- Ideal:
- Knowledge and understanding of Capitec Bank Products
- Knowledge and understanding of internal business processes and procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of organisational Policies, including (but not limited to) the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)
Skills:
- Communication Skills
- Interpersonal and Relationship management Skills
- Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
Conditions of Employment:
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Must have fingerprints which are detectable/recognisable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
