What You’ll Do:
As a Service Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing them with excellent service, exceeding their expectations, and helping them bank better and live better. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide solutions, and ensure they have a seamless banking experience.
Requirements:
Minimum:
- 3-6 months of previous client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
- Alternatively, a candidate with a relevant tertiary qualification can be considered
Ideal:
- More than 1 year of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
- A proven track record of success in a sales and client-facing environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate or Vocational
- Ideal: A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a similar field, or certification in Finance or Banking
Knowledge:
- Minimum:
- Basic calculations
- Retail/consumer service environment
- Ideal:
- Capitec Bank products
- Internal business processes and procedures
- Organisational Policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Conditions of Employment:
- Clear criminal and credit record
- Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognisable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
