About the Role:

As a Mkhuhlu Service Consultant, you’ll be the face of Capitec Bank in the Mkhuhlu community. You’ll provide top-notch customer service, ensuring that every client interaction is a positive one. Your goal will be to enhance the lives of our clients by providing excellent service, fulfilling and exceeding their needs, and using our innovative products to help them bank better and live better.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that every client interaction is a positive one
  • Use our Global One product offering to support clients in achieving their financial goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of service
  • Stay up-to-date with internal business processes and procedures, as well as organizational policies
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the branch

Requirements:

  • Minimum:
    • 3-6 months previous client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment (or a relevant tertiary qualification)
    • Basic calculations and retail/consumer service environment knowledge
  • Ideal:
    • More than 1 year’s client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
    • Demonstrated track record of engaging in sales and client-facing environments
    • Knowledge and understanding of Capitec Bank products, internal business processes, and organizational policies (including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Conditions of Employment:

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Must have fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
