About the Job

As a Service Consultant, you will be responsible for enhancing the lives of our clients by providing exceptional client service. Your primary goal will be to fulfill and exceed client needs by utilizing the Global One product offering. This will enable our clients to bank better and live better.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent client service, fulfilling and exceeding client needs
  • Utilize the Global One product offering to support clients in banking better and living better
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with internal business processes and procedures, as well as organizational policies

Requirements

  • Minimum:
    • 3-6 months of previous client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment (or a relevant tertiary qualification)
  • Ideal:
    • More than 1 year of client service experience within a retail/financial/banking environment
    • Demonstrated track record of engaging in sales and client-facing environments

Education

  • Minimum:
    • Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational
  • Ideal or Preferred:
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar
    • Certification in Finance or Banking

Skills

  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Conditions of Employment

  • Clear criminal and credit record
  • Ability to have fingerprints detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
