What You’ll Do:
As an Assessor Non-Medical Claims West, you’ll play a crucial role in minimizing losses for the Capitec Insurance Department by accurately assessing, investigating, and validating funeral claims. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to ensure that claims are processed efficiently and effectively, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
- Minimum:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a business administration environment
- 1-2 years’ experience as a funeral claims assessor
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and client engagement
- Ideal:
- 5+ years’ experience in a business administration environment
- 2+ years’ experience as a funeral claims assessor
Qualifications:
- Minimum:
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Ideal or Preferred:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Forensics
Knowledge:
- Minimum:
- Insurance industry knowledge, specifically relating to the funeral landscape
- Relevant legislation relating to funeral claims
- Principles of non-medical claim assessment
- Understanding of the Insurance fraud landscape
- Ideal:
- Investigative tactics, tools, and methodologies
- Intimate knowledge of funeral processes for both religious and cultural funeral services
