About the Role:
As a Team Leader – Deceased Estates, you will be responsible for leading a team of agents to ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence within the Deceased Estates team. Your key objective will be to strategically implement processes and report to optimize client query handling, without increasing reputational risk to the benefit of Capitec Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of agents to achieve SLA targets and ensure high-quality service delivery
- Implement processes and report to optimize client query handling and reduce reputational risk
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and third-party providers
- Monitor and analyze team performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery and minimize downtime
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a banking, retail, finance, or client service environment
- Previous people leadership experience is essential
- Function-relevant experience in deceased estates is ideal
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or commerce
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certification in leadership, management, or a related field
- Knowledge of regulations pertaining to deceased estates
- Familiarity with Capitec Bank policies, including disciplinary code and procedures, KPA procedures and policies, and adherence policies
- Working knowledge of legislation relevant to the banking environment, including FICA, NCA, CPA, and POPI
