The Role:
Purpose Statement:
As a Service Consultant, your purpose is to enhance the lives of our clients by providing exceptional customer service, meeting and exceeding their financial needs. You will leverage the Global One product offering to empower our clients to bank better and live better.
Experience:
Minimum:
- 3-6 months of previous client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
- Or, if no experience, a relevant tertiary qualification will be considered
Ideal:
- More than 1 year of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment
- A demonstrated track record of sales and client-facing experience
Qualifications (Minimum):
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
Qualifications (Ideal/Preferred):
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar
- Certification in Finance or Banking
Knowledge (Minimum):
- Basic calculations
- Retail/consumer service environment
Knowledge (Ideal):
- Capitec Bank Products
- Internal business processes and procedures
- Organisational Policies, including (but not limited to) the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)
Skills:
- Communications Skills
- Interpersonal & Relationship Management Skills
- Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
Conditions of Employment:
- A clear criminal and credit record
- Your fingerprints must be detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
