As a Senior Internal Auditor at Capitec Bank, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the bank’s financial integrity and driving strategic risk management. Your responsibilities will include conducting and leading risk-based internal audit engagements in the Capitec Business Banking environment, under the supervision of the Audit Manager. You will have the opportunity to work with various business areas, stakeholders, systems, and processes within the bank.

What You Will Bring to the Table:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a risk-based auditing environment
• A minimum of 2 years’ exposure to Data Analytics and CAATS
• A completed tertiary qualification in Accounting or Auditing
• A completed Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)/ Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification

Ideally, You Will Also Have:

• Banking and/or Financial Services industry experience
• Exposure to Information Technology (IT) control testing, including basic General Controls and Application Controls
