Job Summary:
As a Service Consultant, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing exceptional service, exceeding their needs, and helping them bank better and live better.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent client service, fulfilling and exceeding client requirements using the Global One product offering
Requirements:
- Minimum:
- 3-6 months of client service experience in retail, financial, or banking environments
- A relevant tertiary qualification can be considered if you don’t have experience
- Ideal:
- More than 1 year of client service experience in retail, financial, or banking environments
- Demonstrated track record of engaging in sales and client-facing environments
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Ideal or Preferred:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a similar field
- Certification in Finance or Banking
Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum:
- Basic calculations
- Knowledge of retail/consumer service environments
- Ideal:
- Familiarity with Capitec Bank products
- Understanding of internal business processes and procedures
- Knowledge of Organisational Policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP)
Personal Qualities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Clear criminal and credit record
- Fingerprints that are detectable/recognizable on Capitec Bank’s internal electronic banking system
