Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa

Are you passionate about marketing and eager to take on a leadership role? As a Lead Marketing Portfolio West at Capitec Bank, you will be responsible for delivering marketing objectives through campaigns and tactics that focus on nurturing clients and acquiring new ones. Your expertise in brand marketing, digital marketing, and campaign management will be essential in achieving this goal.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver marketing objectives by executing campaign strategies and tactics that engage clients and drive sales.
• Nurture existing clients by understanding their banking habits and preferences and using data analysis to develop targeted campaigns.
• Create performance-driven campaigns to acquire new clients and launch new products in the market.
• Leverage digital marketing channels to reach a wider audience and increase brand awareness.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communications and campaign execution.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of brand marketing experience in a complex organization with a focus on clients.
• Preference will be given to those with experience in the FMCG, retail banking, or services industry.
• Good understanding of marketing principles, data analysis, and digital marketing.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management.
• Grade 12 National Certificate or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications:

• A postgraduate degree in Marketing or Business Management.
• Knowledge of the Capitec environment and products.

Essential Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook).

Conditions of Employment:

• A valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel nationally on a regular basis.
• A clear criminal and credit record.
