As a Cyber Security Architect at Capitec Bank, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing advanced security solutions to safeguard our systems and data from evolving cyber threats. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles and at least 3 years specifically in a cybersecurity architecture capacity, you will bring your expertise in infrastructure and security tools to assess, enhance, and fortify our security frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating current architectures to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
• Designing and implementing robust security solutions to address current and emerging threats
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our systems and data
• Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to identify new security measures
• Developing and maintaining documentations to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Providing security guidance and recommendations to the senior management and IT teams

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
• At least 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity architecture capacity
• Proven experience with infrastructure and security tools
• Expertise in emerging technologies and a deep understanding of security principles
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
