About the Job:

As a Business Manager at Capitec Bank, you will be responsible for providing a proactive business banking sales and service management function that will retain and grow a portfolio of business clients. You will identify and implement value-adding and specialized business banking financial products solutions from a range of standard and/or customized offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complex portfolio of business customers with a service and financial analysis focus
  • Prepare and motivate credit applications
  • Control costs and manage sales
  • Analyze and apply CRM insights to influence client management approach and strategy

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in Business Banking
  • Experience in managing a complex portfolio of business customers
  • Significant experience in preparing and motivating credit applications
  • Cost control and sales management experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management or Finance

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Finance
  • 1-2 years of managerial/leadership experience
  • 1-2 years of managing a small business center

  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Commercial and strategic thinking skills
