Job Description:
As a Business Intelligence Developer II, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying reporting and analytical solutions to support business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data-driven insights to drive business growth. Your expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and software development will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy reporting and analytical solutions to support business decisions
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop data-driven insights
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data visualizations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions
- Conduct data analysis and develop insights to drive business growth
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analysis
Requirements:
Minimum:
- At least 4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and software development
- Strong understanding of database structure design and data extraction principles (ETL)
- Experience working with visualisation tools, including Power BI (DAX, M)
- Proficiency in SQL (Postgres, MySql, MS SQL) for data cleaning, enriching, transforming, data mapping, data aggregation, and data normalization
- Experience managing projects from start to finish, including planning, scoping, budgeting, and timeline management
- Good understanding of design and user experience principles
Ideal:
- Experience in data analysis methodologies or BI development in various industries, including financial/banking environments
- Certification in AWS Practitioner
- Extensive knowledge of Power BI services (including Advanced AI and ML, and Cognitive services within the Power Platform)
- Working knowledge of the AWS ecosystem and services
- Analysis/report development in a financial/banking environment
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Statistics or Finance
- Certification in AWS Practitioner (ideal)
