The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing business efficiencies made possible by automation, digital, information, and communications technologies.
Job Description
As a Business Analyst at Capitec Bank, you will play a critical role in:
- Systematically analyzing and defining business requirements and functional specifications
- Developing and designing solutions to ensure effectiveness of implementation and continuous improvement for business and/or existing applications
- Collaborating with stakeholders from the business, technology, and product teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis
- A minimum of 4-7 years of working experience in various business analysis knowledge areas, with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Internal: Completion of BA School of Learning Level 3
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong business and data analysis skills, with an understanding of business processes and translation requirements
- Experience in functional and business process design, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration
- Project management principles and relevant development lifecycle experience
- Agile development lifecycle principles and experience
- Understanding of systems and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- Banking industry knowledge is an added advantage
