Job Purpose:
As an Account Analyst at Capitec Bank, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running and maintenance of portfolios. Your main responsibilities will include providing a central office-bound contact point for customer service queries, requests, and administration assistance. You will also identify cross-selling opportunities and monitor loan facilities in the portfolio against set parameters and conditions.

Requirements:

Experience

• Minimum: At least 5 years of experience in the Business Banking environment, with a minimum of 1 year spent in the credit application process.
• Essential Experience: Experience in preparing and motivating credit applications is a must.

Qualifications (Minimum)

• A Diploma in Commerce or Banking

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Banking or Commerce

Knowledge (Minimum)

• Understanding of the features, benefits, and value propositions of respective company product/service offerings
• General banking practices and procedures
• Knowledge of how Business Banking operates, including business risks, industry risks, and financial requirements
• Credit principles and practices, including an understanding of credit application, securities, and balance sheet requirements
• The Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA)
• Administration processes and procedures pertaining to Business Banking transactions
• Client relationship management and service principles

Knowledge (Ideal)

• Competitor product offerings, channels, operational, and marketing tactics
• Capitec/Business Bank systems and processes
