Business Manager (Vaal) Position Overview
Job Summary
We are currently hiring a talented Business Manager to join our team in Vanderbijlpark. The successful candidate will work on retaining and growing a portfolio of business clients by identifying and implementing value-adding and specialized business banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive business banking sales and service management skills.
- Focus on retaining and growing a portfolio of business clients.
- Identify and implement value-adding solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients.
- Work closely with other teams to fulfill sales and revenue targets.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- At least five (5) years of banking experience, with at least three (3) years in the Business Banking department.
- Experience in managing a complex portfolio of business customers.
- Significant experience in preparing and motivate loan applications.
Ideal Requirements
- 1-2 years of managerial/leadership experience is essential.
- 1-2 years of managing a small business center is desirable.
What Education Qualification Do We Need?
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Banking, Finance, or a related field is a must.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field would be an added advantage.
Knowledge and Skills
Minimum: Be knowledgeable of the following:
- Principles and practices of business economics.
- Customer relationship management (CRM).
- Banking practices and procedures.
- Credit principles and practices.
- Financial services and regulations.
Additionally:
- Personal and professional integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy.
