Purpose of the Position
To ensure a clean and organized laboratory environment while also assisting with tasks such as:
- Collecting samples already gathered.
- Delivering reports to hospital wards and doctors’ rooms.
- Providing support to nursing staff with additional tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements
To apply for this role, you must have:
- Grade 10 Certificate.
- A South African ID or a valid South African work permit.
Experience and Skills Needed
- Knowledge of Cleaning Processes: Familiarity with cleaning methods and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities
As an Ampath Cleaner, your daily duties will include:
- Specimen Collection and Report Delivery
- Deliver reports to hospital wards and doctors’ rooms promptly.
- Collect specimens to ensure timely service delivery for clients.
- Maintain Cleanliness
- Clean the laboratory thoroughly to meet high hygiene standards.
- Client Relations
- Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with clients to promote Ampath’s professional image.
- Administrative Support
- Assist nursing staff with depot-related administrative tasks when required.
