Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this role, you must:
- Be a South African citizen residing in Ekurhuleni.
- Have Grade 12.
- Be unemployed.
- Not currently participating in the CoE Job Creation programme.
Key Responsibilities
As a Delivery Driver, your duties will include:
Delivery Tracking
- Use the Delivery Partner app to accept, track, and complete deliveries.
- Update the status of deliveries in real time to keep customers and restaurants informed.
Time Management
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries to meet schedules.
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while driving.
Equipment Care
- Maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle (motorbike) and delivery gear.
Cash Handling and Payment Processing
- Manage payment transactions accurately and responsibly when required.
Professional Appearance
- Wear the branded uniforms provided and maintain a neat, clean appearance throughout your shift.
Reporting and Feedback
- Submit daily reports on completed deliveries, including any issues encountered during the shift.
Basic Maintenance and Refueling
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and refuel as necessary. Report any technical issues promptly.
