About the Role
Algoa FM, the top commercial radio station serving the Eastern Cape and Garden Route, is looking for a Junior Sales Executive to join its energetic sales team. If you’ve just finished university and want more than a short‑term job – you want a real career in media sales – this could be the perfect start.
In this position you won’t just be selling airtime. You’ll become a partner to local businesses, helping them grow while you grow with the station.
What You’ll Do Every Day
- Find New Opportunities – Spot clubs, stores, restaurants and other businesses that could benefit from advertising on our station. Turn those leads into long‑term partnerships.
- Create Smart Sales Plans – Work with clients to design on‑air spots, outdoor promotions and digital ads that reach the right listeners.
- Keep Relationships Strong – Stay in touch with existing advertisers, answer their questions, and make sure they’re happy with the results.
- Learn From the Best – Receive hands‑on training from senior sales leaders and soak up everything about the radio and media market.
Who We’re Looking For
