Job Description: What You’ll Be Doing
As a Salesperson at Lewis Furniture, you’ll chat with customers, help them choose products, and explain why those products are great. Your main goal is to make sales by giving customers the best info possible. You’ll need to know our products inside and out to help customers make the right choices and boost sales at our store.
Sometimes, you might help with other tasks like setting up displays, promoting sales, keeping the store tidy, and other related activities.
Daily Responsibilities
- Meet Sales Targets: Reach your sales goals every month.
- Customer Service: Provide top-notch service to every customer.
- Promotions & Marketing: Help with store promotions and marketing efforts.
- Teamwork: Work well with your colleagues.
- Compliance: Follow company policies and procedures.
- Phone Calls: Call customers from our Re-serve List.
- Personal Service: Walk customers to the cash desk and build relationships for future sales.
- Home Visits: Make appointments to visit customers at their homes.
- Sales Techniques: Use company sales techniques effectively.
- Flexible Hours: Work evenings or weekends if needed to meet customers.
- Training: Attend training sessions to improve your selling skills and product knowledge.
- Customer Relationships: Treat customers with respect and aim to build long-lasting relationships.
- Follow-Up: Call customers after delivery to ensure they’re happy with their purchase.
- Issue Resolution: Listen to customer complaints and resolve them promptly.
- Events: Organize and follow up on sales events.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on all products to better assist customers.
- Demonstrations: Ask reps to show you their products for better understanding.
- Sales Plan: Study and understand the current sales plan.
- Stock Management: Know where all stock is located on the floor.
- Safety: Maintain a safe and tidy work environment.

Job Requirements
- Education: Must have a Matric (high school diploma).
- Language: Proficient in English.
- Background Check: Must have a clear criminal record.
