The Makhado Municipality has exciting job opportunities for 20 General Workers and 8 Cleaners under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP). These positions are perfect for gaining work experience and helping improve your community.

  • General Workers (20 Positions): Help maintain and support public infrastructure and services.
  • Cleaners (8 Positions): Keep public spaces clean and hygienic.

These roles aim to reduce unemployment and boost community involvement.

Job Details

  • Positions: 20 General Workers, 8 Cleaners
  • Contract Duration: 6-8 months
  • Stipend: R2,700 (including UIF)
  • Locations: Makhado, Dzanani, and Hlanganani

Who Can Apply?

  • Eligibility: South African citizens living in Makhado Municipality
  • Requirements:
    • Unemployed
    • Age: 18-45 years
    • Proof of residence and income

  1. Specify Position: Clearly state if you’re applying for General Worker or Cleaner.
  2. Submit Documents:
    • Comprehensive CV
    • Certified copies of income proof and SA ID (Smart ID copies of both sides)
    • Proof of residence
