Bushbuckridge Local Municipality is looking for young people who are not currently employed to join their Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP). They have 300 positions available in waste management. If you’re interested, you’ll need to apply by June 21st, 2024.
JOB DETAILS:
- Position: EPWP X300
- Department: Economic Development Planning and Environment
- Pay: R150 per day
- Location: All areas covered by EPWP
- Duration: 12 months
- Requirements: You must live full-time in Bushbuckridge Local Municipality and be between 18 and 45 years old.
PREFERENCE:
- 60% for Women
- 40% for Men
- 2% for People with Disabilities
WHAT YOU NEED:
- High School Diploma (Grade 12)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Certified copy of your ID
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleaning streets and picking up litter
- Sweeping sidewalks and paved areas
- Removing illegal dumps and cleaning skip bins
- Participating in all clean-up campaigns
- Cutting grass and maintaining gardens at municipal buildings
