VANS – Retail Controller

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Capturing and Reconciliation:
  • Match sales income with bank receipts and CIT reports per store.
  • Record all cashbook receipts.
• Debtors Management:
  • Resolve store queries.
  • Manage credit applications and ensure all paperwork is complete.
  • Apply for credit insurance for all debtors.
  • Verify and follow up on invoices, statements, and payments.
  • Send monthly statements to all debtors.
  • Provide weekly age analysis with comments to business heads.
• General:
  • Handle store queries.
  • Ensure accurate data capturing and communication.
  • Report any debtor issues to the Debtors Manager.
• Administration:
  • Filing and general office tasks.

Requirements:

• Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in creditors and debtors reconciliations.
• Experience with point-of-sale reconciliations is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with SAP Business One is highly advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and deadlines.
• Honest, self-starter, and good time manager.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• High attention to detail and deadline driven.
