Mr Price Kids is looking for Store Assistants to help manage daily store operations, meet targets, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Stock Management:
- Receive and unpack stock accurately to restock the sales floor.
- Monitor and manage stock levels to prevent stock loss and ensure enough stock is available.
- Keep the stockroom clean and organized.
- Handle write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.
Sales Growth & Profitability:
- Analyze sales and profitability reports to create action plans with management.
- Monitor product performance and provide feedback to support sales.
- Suggest new ideas to increase sales and brand awareness.
Risk Management:
- Conduct compliance checks to ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
Customer Experience Management:
- Implement and maintain processes to meet customer service standards.
Leadership & Development:
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve store KPIs and follow company values.
- Identify training and development needs for the team, focusing on talent management and succession planning.
- Handle recruitment, administration, and performance management according to company policies.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a Supervisory or Assistant Store Management role.
- Understanding of Sales and Service Management.
- Budgeting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of Retail Trade, Brand, Customer, and Product.
