Publicis Groupe Africa Invites qualified candidates to apply for the Influencer Paid Social Specialist position. Applications close on 31 October 2026.
Publicis Groupe Africa is looking for a bright, motivated person to join its Influential team as an Influencer Paid Social Specialist. This role mixes creator marketing, paid social advertising, and performance media. If you enjoy working with influencers, love social platforms, and want to make data‑driven decisions, keep reading.
What You’ll Do
You will take influencer and creator posts that usually get only free (organic) reach and boost them with paid social ads. Your work will spread creator content on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, and other new social apps.
- Teamwork: Work side‑by‑side with influencer strategists, clients, creators, and media teams. Make sure the right content reaches the right people at the right moment in their buying journey.
- Beyond Buying: It isn’t just about buying ads. You’ll learn why a creator’s video works, find ways to amplify it, and turn that buzz into real business results.
Main Tasks
1. Paid Social Campaign Management
- Build, launch, and run paid campaigns that spotlight influencer content.
- Set up ads on Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and any relevant platform.
- Choose audiences, placements, budgets, bidding strategies, and optimisation rules.
- Tag and track every campaign so performance can be measured.
- Watch delivery numbers daily and tweak settings to hit key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Balance spend across creators, content types, and platforms.
- Spot high‑performing creator posts and give them more budget, while pulling back on weak ones.
2. Influencer & Creator Amplification
- Talk with influencer campaign teams to understand creator strategy, content themes, and target audiences.
- Turn those strategies into paid‑media plans.
- Review creator posts and pick the ones with the biggest paid‑media potential.
- Manage creator permissions, whitelisting, partnership ads, and similar tools.
- Help create a system for deciding which creators and messages deserve extra spend.
3. Audience & Targeting
- Build audiences that match campaign goals and consumer journeys.
- Use platform tools for targeting, retargeting, and look‑alike audiences.
- Work with data teams to use first‑party data and audience insights.
- Learn how creator follower groups can be turned into larger paid‑social audiences.
4. Performance & Optimisation
- Track reach, engagement, video views, click‑through rate (CTR), cost‑per‑click (CPC), cost‑per‑thousand impressions (CPM), conversions, and other KPIs.
- Spot trends and turn them into concrete optimisation actions.
- Understand not just ad performance but also how the creative itself is doing.
5. Reporting & Insights
- Help produce clear reports that show how paid amplification performed.
- Pull out actionable insights that can improve future campaigns.
- Keep campaign trackers, budget sheets, and performance dashboards up‑to‑date.
6. Collaboration
- Work with other media and creative agencies as well as platform partners.
- Build relationships with representatives from Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Ensure creative teams design content with paid amplification in mind from the start.
Who Should Apply
Experience
- 1‑2 years working directly with influencer or creator content.
- Around 2‑4 years in paid social, performance media, digital advertising, or influencer marketing.
- Hands‑on experience with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager.
- Experience with Snapchat, YouTube, or other social ad platforms is a plus.
- Agency background preferred but not mandatory.
Skills
- Strong grasp of how paid‑social campaigns are built and optimised.
