Salary: R156 300 to R183 882 Per annum.
The primary goal of this job is to offer cleaning services to maintain a clean, hygienic, and environmentally friendly university that supports research, teaching, and learning.
Requirements:
- Grade 10
- One year of experience in a relevant cleaning role
- Uphold the greatest standards for cooperation, cleanliness, and communication.
- understanding on how to operate cleaning supplies and tools.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks as delegated by the supervisor and specified in the standard cleaning requirements.
- thorough cleaning of every area as needed.
- Adhere to cost control protocols to guarantee that cleaning materials and labor are utilized effectively to prevent wastage.
- Consumable materials are maintained in stock to ensure uninterrupted cleaning operations.
- Cleaning supplies are kept in good operating order and put away for security.
- Observe the protocols pertaining to the handling of garbage.
- preparing the spaces for department meetings and graduation ceremonies
- Set up the locations for the class assessments and exams.
- Workplace injuries are addressed as soon as they occur, and safety concerns are located and eliminated.
- The University’s lost property is reported to and given to staff, students, and visitors upon request.
