Job Description:

The Analyst – FinSurv will develop solutions to analyze trends and risks associated with cross-border flows, ensuring compliance with Exchange Control Regulations and supporting policy formulation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop analytical solutions and produce reports.
  • Highlight risks and facilitate internal meetings.
  • Design risk-based analytical solutions.
  • Collect and integrate data from various sources.

  • Define project controls and governance.
  • Provide process guidance and facilitate governance structures.
  • Act as a central point of contact for project management.

The Trade Settlement Officer will provide operational supervision in the Domestic Trade Settlement area and support the Foreign Exchange section within the Financial Markets Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the team.
  • Supervise trade flows and ensure risk mitigation.
  • Authorize instructions related to bonds and money market instruments.
  • Assist with collateral management.
  • Ensure compliance with Strate rules and directives.

Positions are available in the Economic and Climate-related Research Unit. The roles involve policy analysis, research, and supporting the SARB’s strategic objectives in economic development and climate change.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct economic and climate-related research.
  • Provide insights and support policy formulation.
